How much does Home Watch IT cost?
HWIT Fundamentals starts at $69/month, which includes the first Full User, built-in HWIT Reporting, and the Access customer app. Additional Full Users are $39/month each, and reporting-only users are $29/month. HWIT for Method:CRM starts at $109/month. There are no per-customer charges — both plans support unlimited clients.
Does Home Watch IT charge per customer or per property?
No. Home Watch IT charges by team size, not by the number of clients or properties you manage. You can have unlimited customers and properties on any plan.
What is the difference between HWIT Fundamentals and HWIT for Method:CRM?
HWIT Fundamentals is the all-in-one platform built specifically for home watch operations — it includes lead management, AI-assisted reporting, subscription billing, scheduling, invoicing, planning and forecasting, rental by owner management, and an offline-first mobile app. HWIT for Method:CRM is a distinct platform for businesses that need to run on the Method:CRM platform or require QuickBooks for Desktop compatibility, adding full CRM capabilities such as estimates and proposals. Both platforms support lead management. Most home watch businesses choose Fundamentals.
What accounting software does Home Watch IT integrate with?
HWIT Fundamentals integrates with QuickBooks Online, Zoho Books, Zoho Invoice, InvoiceXpress, PennyLane, and Stripe with two-way sync. HWIT for Method:CRM integrates with all versions of QuickBooks.
Is there a customer-facing app available?
Yes. HWIT Access is a dedicated mobile app for your clients, available on iOS and Android. It gives property owners secure access to their visit reports, schedules, issue tracking, and in-app messaging with your team. It is included at no extra charge with HWIT Fundamentals. HWIT for Method:CRM offers the same app as a flat $10/month add-on.
Is there a contract or cancellation notice requirement?
There is no minimum subscription term, and you can cancel your Home Watch IT subscription at any time. We simply require cancellation at least three days before your next renewal date to avoid the upcoming charge. Prepaid subscription fees are non-refundable. The former 60-day cancellation notice requirement was eliminated in September 2026. See the Master Services Agreement.
