HomeWatch IT Fundamentals has long helped home watch companies manage their complete operations—from scheduling and client management to billing, communication, inspections, and reporting. The platform maintains support for partner reporting systems like SafetyCulture and MonitorQA.
However, a new option now exists: HWIT Built-In Reporting — a fully integrated inspection and reporting option available directly inside HWIT Fundamentals. This solution operates without separate applications, additional logins, or cross-system synchronization.
The workflow involves technicians opening visits within the app to conduct inspections. They can input notes and photos, temperatures and thermostat settings, completing visits efficiently. Clients receive finished reports via email, text, or the HomeWatch IT Customer App.
An optional AI-assisted feature allows technicians to describe inspection results conversationally rather than manually entering every detail. The system intelligently completes reports from natural language input, though traditional manual entry remains available.
The company emphasizes its core philosophy: avoiding vendor lock-in. Organizations using SafetyCulture or MonitorQA may continue doing so. Those preferring integrated solutions now have that choice. Existing templates can typically be converted into HWIT Built-In Reporting with minimal changes.
Beta testing is currently open to interested home watch companies.
